Forecast Discussion
Wednesday, May 25, 2016, 3:00 PM

Synopsis: An air quality alert is being issued statewide for Thursday, 5/26/16. Continued warm with lots of sunshine early in the day, light winds, and temperatures well into the 80s, will be favorable for ozone formation. Fine particles expected to be MODERATE statewide. There will be some increased clouds late day. For Friday, high pressure moves just east of the state with a more pronounced southerly flow and temperatures in the low 80s. Air quality MODERATE for both ozone and fine particles. The warm weather continues into Saturday with little improvement in air quality, at least MODERATE for ozone.
